Where Does the King Frog Hide? is a beautifully illustrated book for children aged 3 to 8 that is entertaining and educational. Children who love animals will enjoy meeting the iconic animals of the Australian bush who form part of the journey to find the King Frog. Children have a fascination with frogs and they will relate to Henry’s passion to find the King Frog.

The story is told in rhyming verse designed by author and school teacher Jacqueline Comley. It is all the more amazing for the fact that Jacqueline is aged 92 and this is her first published work.

In the context of climate change and the drought of 2019 that so badly damaged the Australian bush and the rural economy, children will see the relevance of this story book, as the King Frog is known in its local area to herald the onset of rain. Sales of this book will raise money for Australian drought affected farmers.

The frog jokes at the end of the book provide some guessing and unique frog humour!
